Pandora's Cartel
About the committee
The world is on the brink of a financial collapse. An extremely powerful and resourceful organised crime group known as The Pandora Cartel has infiltrated the world's financial markets in a way never seen before. A massive intelligence leak has just revealed the Cartel's previously hidden operations, and it is already sending shockwaves throughout the global financial system.
Stock markets are plummeting, corporations are collapsing, and supply chains are disintegrating. Governments cannot contain the fallout as economies collapse into uncertainty, investor confidence plummets, and the risk of long-term global recession escalates by the hour. Panic has taken hold across the globe, and without immediate action, the fallout will be disastrous.
In response, we are establishing an Emergency Response Cabinet that will include decision-makers, financial experts, and security officials to assess the entire situation and develop an emergency plan. Our immediate work must focus on identifying and freezing cartel-controlled assets before they take additional action. But the challenge is not only about dismantling the Pandora Cartel's network of finance and assets. The crisis has revealed the depths of fragility in the global financial system and the extent to which organised crime is attempting to use legal loopholes, regulatory gaps, and new technologies to embed itself solidly into global markets.
While the committee works to respond to the immediate issue at hand, it is also tasked with addressing the larger issue of economic crime occurring through organised crime networks.
