About the committee
The Marketing Committee for this year aims to provide delegates with a hands-on experience in strategic marketing, crisis management, and quick decision-making.
Delegates will be asked to present product presentations, where representatives will share
their products, refine their marketing strategies, and become capable of engaging a
customer effectively.
They will encounter unforeseen market conditions in the form of a crisis personalized to each
portfolio. From changes in consumer trends to tight competition, delegates will have to think
on their feet, create solutions, and defend their strategies under pressure.
By the end of the committee sessions, delegates will take away useful skills in marketing,
problem-solving, and public communications, enabling them to thrive as future
entrepreneurs.

CHAIRPERSON
Atharv Bhargava is a 12th-grade student at The Doon School, pursuing the ISC curriculum with a focus on Accounts, Commerce, and Economics. He has represented his school at numerous MUNs, Inter School debates, and Round Square conferences—reflecting his ability to address complex ideas with clarity and confidence. He enjoys exploring unconventional and interesting skills, and is known for his jovial and light hearted personality. At school, he serves as the House Debating Captain and, in his downtime, enjoys video games and watching professional wrestling. He has a keen interest in Business, and after showcasing an outstanding performance as a delegate during the 2024 edition of the conference, he is proud to be the Chairperson of the marketing committee this year.
